I used a Microsoft laser mouse for Mac for many years on an ordinary desk. It recently started playing up (jumpy and inaccurate movement) and I thought it was to do with the driver as the mouse is getting a bit old now. So I installed the latest version of the Microsoft driver but this did not help.Then I experimented on different surfaces and concluded the issues with the accuracy in movement were to do with the desk surface. So I found this mouse mat online, and it looked like a good solution to the problem (I did not think that a laser mouse needed a mat).I am pleased to say that this mouse mat has met all of my expectations - it is stylish and well made with plenty of designs to choose from. On top of that, the mouse control is now much more accurate. I tested it by trying to trace around the inside edge of a small round icon roughly 12 pixels wide without the mat vs with the mat - it was very hard to stay just within the outer edge of the circle without the mat, but with the mat I could trace around in the inside edge with relative ease.

It's visually stunning and despite the initial issues of trying to remove the air spaces it's splendidly form fitting. The only downside is that it comes a tad bit larger than advertised meaning you'll have to cut it into your laptop specific dimensions. The whole cutting process tends to be quite tedious and is nearly impossible to do it absolutely perfect.

I like this mouse mat. I think the picture of the galaxies is cool and the texture of the mat allows accurate mouse movements which are important to me at work. didn't buy it for the home - needed something a little more precise fore finer mouse movements. This mat works well with the older 'steam driven' mice i.e. analogue and works very well with a modern optical mouse.

The design on this mouse mat is bright and eye catching with it's fabric finish the mouse has good contact. The 5cm sponge rubber base is an excellent cushion for the heel of your hand and does not slip and slide around. The range of designs within the "Space" series should suite anyone with an interest in the universe. I would definitely recommend these to anyone - it's the best mat I have used in 17 years of computing!

My old mouse mat lased for quite a while, but nothing lasts forever. These mouse mats took my eye and looked reasonable, for their cost, so I've bought two. One for now and the other for a change. I'm quite happy for the moment.

This mat is really nicely done and much thicker then other variants, absolutely no faults with a stunning picture in the middle, very nice quality too.would recommend to everyone looking for a nicely designed, well made mouse mat

The quality of the image is disappointing with the colours being lackluster at best. I’m not certain what process is used to produce this item but the chemicals smell to such an extent that it makes my eyes water. I have left the mouse mat in a drafty outbuilding for over a week but it still smells atrocious! Would not buy another.

Received the exact pattern and colours which are lovely and vibrant.Sticks and unsticks very well without loosing any stickiness so easy to change.Will definitely buy more considering there's so many to choose from.
