Does what it's meant to!
Still working after a year+. It has been really helpful in the winter months to keep training. My wife enjoys watching youtube cycling vids and using the trainer at the same time.

Wow, I love it!
I bought this to use my bike in the house over the winter. I didn't see the instructions at first so put it together without them. When my husband found the instructions, I went over it just in case and everything was as should be. This means it's pretty easy to put together even without instructions. The noise is very low. I can here my music or TV over it with no problem. Putting it together originally took about 10 minutes but taking the bike off and folding it up is about a 2 minute process. I'm very happy with this unit and the pricing was acceptable.

Didn't meet my expectations.
This product did not meet my expectations. It was very difficult to try attach my bike to it. In fact, I wasn't able to do it. And if I had been able to, I wouldn't have wanted to take it off and do it all over again. When I contacted the company regarding returning the product, they offered me a substantial discount to keep it. After examining how much it would cost to return it and how much I would have to pay in addition to what I had already paid... I decided to take their offer. However, now I am stuck with something I can't use. The product is well made. But I wanted something that I could attach and take off easily.

Very happy with this purchase!
My knees are failing and I needed something to exercise them without the pressure of weight or pounding on them. This was the answer. I hadn't been able to use my bicycle for some time now and it hooked up very easy. I did it myself without any help. I don't set any resistance so that the stress on my knees is minimal. The stand is sturdy and quiet. I'm so glad I purchased this. It came in a timely manner and was packaged very well. It was missing a nut on the resistance selector that you attach to your handlebars, but it was easy to find another one in the garage. I don't consider that a problem.

great for indoors
I bought this mainly for winter use. I will be honest, I did not set this up. My husband did but he set it up and was done very fast. I am not mechanically inclined. It doesnt rock or wiggle and I can just leave the Tv on while i work out. On noise level i would say its about 3 or 4 out of 10 because there is SOME noise from where your back tire rubs. Most of the nose was from my bike more than stationary piece. It does come with gauge settings to make it easier or harder, but I didnt feel like it make it harder.

Sturdy, fits my Specialized Hardrock Disk (19" frame/26" wheels) ...
Sturdy, fits my Specialized Hardrock Disk (19" frame/26" wheels) with a standard skewer. I didn't want to replace my skewer just for this. I put a square off an old rag in the mounts to prevent needless wear. I still have my trail tire on it, so it sounds like a jet engine. I'll get a slick road tire before it gets too cold to ride.Feb 2015 Update:I decided to play it safe and get a full steel skewer. I really like how this will fit anything. I got the slicks, and it's much quieter. I can watch movies now while I pedal. I can change gears on the bike (should only go 1-3 gears) for a quick burn then long ride, and quick burn again, etc. The remote control I set to max, and just leave it there.

You'll love it!
Love it! You need to have the bike in a top gear for it to work to its potential, and it works great! I'm 6', 225lbs, and have a 29er full suspension bike on it. It's very solid and secure and will give you all the resistance you can handle and then a bunch more. I've only been using it on setting 2 so far.

Good thing I'm mechanically inclined...
The entire magnetic resistance mechanism is held together on one end with a c-clip and on the other it ought to have what appears to have been a bolt with a shouldered spacer to allow it to spin free with minimal play from end to end. Well that bolt on the end of the shaft was missing. I wondered why it seemed to make an inordinate amount of noise. The entire center shaft the wheel rode on was slipping sideways. After a bolt with a flat washer and a lock washer installed no more noise. I've not rode on it very long, but I've doubts as to how long it'll last before the bearing on either end wear out. I suppose if it gets me through a couple of winters it'll have been worth what I spent on it.
