Q: When standing, how far over or back from the first line in the insole pattern does your big toe come and have you had any problems with this size? Tx

Not quite sure what you mean. There is about a half inch between the big toe and the end of the sole. I am usually a size 9 or 10. Previously I bought a size 9 but had to return for a size 10. This time I went straight for the size 10 and satisfied with fit service and everything else about them.

Q: Just for clarification, are these kahuna ii or kahuna iii? i don't think kahuna Iii is correct.

Iii is correct but they do III but these are more expensive. I can only say about merrells lii . Is that they are really so comfortable and fit is true to size.

I can’t see any worth in your question asking if the sandals are ‘waterproof’. By their very nature sandals don’t form a complete covering of the foot. Is the material they are made out of waterproof ie not absorbent of water? The answer is no. They would have to be made out of plastic or a plastic type material such as Gortex which they are not but a synthetic open grain suede leather which will repel water to a degree but will eventually hold it. Hence, the variation in the answers.
