I wanted to transfer my old VHS to my computer so I could make my own DVD's. But my old VCR is not digital, which means I could not copy the VHS tapes to my computer unless I first copied them to my old Digital Video Camcorder. Because my Digital Video Camcorder no longer functions completely, I had to copy the VHS to my Digital Camcrder, then copy it to my computer. Everything done in real time took forever. But, this connector worked flawlessly.

I have been using this for a conversion process from VHS to digital. It has been great! Quality has been perfect.

This is an very high quality cable with a good positive connection. S-Video is not used much anymore, but if you have equipment without component or HDMI connections, this is the way to go.This cable produced a very noticeable improvement over an RCA type video cable connection I had before, with a similar quality cable.
