I didn't pay it much mind til later on down the line. I know this is just a children's toy, but it's also a collectors items as well.Given that it only comes with 4 trains I decided to hit that buy button. 2 days later I seen it on my door step. Opened it up, and placed everything together neatly.As one can see in my video each of the four trains are modeled (possibly?) of different countries that house said train. The trains themselves do not pull back and shoot off. They are loose, and with the pegs (which is hidden down below the second stack of tracks in a plastic bag).The pegs themselves put the train in a stationary position so one could shelve them in a cabinet, or counter top for looks/show. Now, as for what kids could do with this. They can place them on the tracks (which snap together).After which push them forward or backwards. Especially on the tracks which will allow them to sort of skate. Since the wheels are pure metal, and very slick. The trains are small so to me they are cute. There's one last thing to note the pegs have be connected below the tracks, and up to hold the trains in place.Oddly enough there almost seems to be some connecting pieces missing that connect all 4 trains together. Then again it could be for looks.

The quality of trains are very good my son played for hours with them. He through them about the house and they held up rather well. He had problems connecting the tracks together because its has very tight connections even for myself it was hard however, he enjoyed playing racing the trains together more than running them on the tracks. It would be nice if the tracks were easier to connect and as well as if there were additional tracks available for purchase to make an oval-shaped track.

This is a nice set of train engines that work well as decor for a kids room shelf. The engines as mostly metal and are nice quality with great detail. The six sections of rail are plastic and make a decent display on a shelf or ledge for the trains to sit on. To be sure, this is not a play set, more of a display or decoration. Also, the product page states that they are able to pull back and move themselves (at least that is how it reads) but the engines only forward movement would be by pushing them along the floor, which my 5 year old doesn't seem to mind when we take them down. Good quality for the price if you are looking for some nice additions to a train yard display or a kids room in my opinion.

I have received the set to review.I like how it feels. When you hold the train you feel its' weight. it feels like you are holding something solid as trains supposed to be. The trains fit on the tracks pretty well and trains roll on tracks pretty nice. It doesn't feel like a cheap toy.In my opinion, it doesn't have enough track length. It comes with only 6 track segments. The segments are linear and do not complete a circle or anything. Maybe the seller should redesign the toy to include more tracks but fewer trains.Overall this is very good product. Make sure to read the description and check reviews by other people to see photos and videos of the items sold in this set.

The trains are high quality and detail with nice weight to them.I also like how the packaging is very compact and how easily the train locks onto the tracks. However I'm not sure if the package was supposed to one with any instructions (mine did not) but it was relatively easy for me to figure out how to put the tracks together and what the small black pieces do. One minor problem I had would be how hard it was to push the track pieces together to get them to be as straight as possible so the trains could easily run through them. Overall I think it's a good gift for a someone who likes trains.

Cute little train set that's easy to set up and use right away!The design on the train cars is extremely detailed, especially the locomotive.This is more of a display train set rather than something kids would use because the tracks that come with it are only straight and you can't connect the cars to each other.If your looking for something to display in a diarama or something of that nature, this would be absolutely perfect.

Nice little set! I picked up the set for my eight-year-old grandson. There are several different styles of trains which he really liked. They are very well constructed. The only negative I would have are the tracks. They were very difficult for even me to get together. They don’t fit together easily and there is very little track there. It’s really probably meant more for show and less for play, but my grandson had a good time playing with them anyway.

I was pleasantly surprise to see that these are made well and are of good quality. The set is great for collectors and kids, big and small, that love trains. There are no curved pieces of track, just straight sections, but they can be use to display the trains in a collector set or case. Overall this set come recommended for quality and detail and just general fun with trains.
