I purchased this adapter to run the old HDMI monitor on the new graphics card. This adapter is obviously used for the HDMI port. This is not an exciting experiment, but I am happy because they all work as expected. Frankly, I was surprised by how it looks and how easy it is to blend together. It has completed its work.

I ordered this on a rush as I had a presentation to give on my old Laptop. I wasn't sure the USB 3.0 would be OK, but i thought "what the hell". Glad to say after installing it all was fine. Simple plug and play install and you're off.Quick delivery, good value for money

I'm pretty good at installing things and making the un-workable work. This product is useless garbage. I've bought quite a few high-quality things that originated from China. I thought I was doing so this time. I was wrong.I have a standard dual-monitor setup. Another product I purchased at the same time (just to make sure that I have a working adapter) "plugged and prayed" perfectly. That product was the Plugable USB 3.0 to HDMI Video Graphics Adapter with Audio for Multiple Monitors up to 2560x1440 (Supports Windows 10, 8.1, 7). It works just fine.This product? I plugged, installed the adapter, prayed, did the Windows key three-finger monitor dance, uninstalled, plugged, prayed, fiddled, faddled, plugged, prayed, restarted, and now I'm telling you about the entire, disheartening, unpleasant and frustrating experience. This product is unsafe at any speed. I think it's safe to say I don't recommend it.

I bought this converter to set up a dual-screen for my laptop.I have an external 4k screen and a laptop screen as a secondary screen, but I wanted a larger secondary screen, so I bought a 24-inch monitor and decided to buy this converter. My laptop has only one HDMI port, no VGA, or DP ports. The first time you connect the converter to your computer, it will appear that you need to download a driver. You can't use a dual-screen if you don't download it. This must be borne in mind. The only problem at the moment is that occasionally my secondary screen goes black for a second, probably due to connectivity issues. It's worth it overall.

After installing on my desktop the Video worked as expected but it mutes the Audio on my ASUS Motherboard's Audio

This little device is what you need if you have a Windows 10 laptop and need to connect two large monitors. I have two monitors, each using HDMI ports. My laptop only has one HDMI port. So, one monitor hooks into the HDMI port and the other one into this device. The device is plug and play and it was easy to install when you first plug the device into your computer.

Have been using this product for almost a year - easy to use, picture quality is very sharp and has enabled me to easily add another screen to my home office set up. Built in software makes installation a snap. Highly recommend it, as long as your system has a USB 3.0 port.

I bought this adapter early this year to use with my Lenovo Ideapad. It behaves temperamentally from time to time so that I have to unplug and replug the adapter to make it work. But when it works, it works perfectly.The seller said that the adapter has the driver built in the adapter so that we do not need to download it from the internet. I believe this is to provide convenience to the customers. However, the catch is that the Windows system and Lenovo BIOS system both keep updating, which may require the driver to be updated. I hope the manufacturer will have new updates to its adapter for the customers to download to keep up with the windows updates.
