This is a metal body not plastic.
This file has adjustable speed and no chuck needed for changing the heads like my rotary took for wood, so it's easy to change. It has forward and reverse and plugs into any USB outlet. I have actually been running it off either a power bank or my phone charger. I like it, it does the job well.

You get what you pay for
I'm a nail tech. My $400 drill broke after years of loyal use, and I just couldn't afford to replace it right now. The reviews convinced me that this would be adequate enough to get me by. I use my own bits. I'm satisfied with the performance when doing a gel or dip manicure. It's only 20,000 RPM, so I didn't expect it to work well with acrylic. It's only okay for an acrylic fill, but definitely not a full set. You really can't beat the price of this product for what you get. It's got a metal body and it's very slim making it easy to hold. With the right bits it can do a satisfactory job. This is a great backup tool especially for the price, but definitely not a main tool.

Great set with a learning curve
This is a nice at home set, if you know what you are doing. I have go through phases of getting my nails done then getting bored of all the time spent there... this helps me for the inbetweens. I got it not too long ago and I'm sure with more frequent use it will become easier to use. I'm right handed all the way so obviously that one is easiest to use, the left hand is somewhat awkward but I'll get used to it. The buffers it comes with are great. Do your self a favor and watch some videos on how to use sets like these. Cause if you don't know you could really damage yourself. A friend of mine had gotten one that was huge and required alot of desk space. I have no idea why, as this one simply plugs in with a usb. I do one better and use my charge pack to use it where ever I want so I'm not having to plug it just to a computer. This is a solid set, just know what you are doing and go slow!

Pretty Nifty Tool
What a great tool this is! I'm so happy to have this as a part of my nails accessories! This is the most efficient and multi-use tool of them all!It is quiet so you can use it at any time. The vibration gets stronger as you increase the spinning speed, so if you do like the vibration, slow down the rotational speed. Also, you can reverse the spin direction.I only used this for filing my fingernail tips and it works quickly! I will need to polish my nail surfaces & fix my cuticles soon.In order to use it, you will need to provide your own source of power, either a portable battery pack or a Plugin with a USB slot. This tool is light and easy to handle. I got a pink one which is so pretty! It comes with a baggie of extra sanders. You should be good for a bit!

Ok but...
Okay, so I liked it a lot. It was easy to use. Easy to hold. Not amazing but great for basic at home stuff. But then it wasn't great anymore when the bits refused to stay in straight. On what I believe was my 3rd time using it in the less than one month that I owned it, the bits no longer stayed straight. They spun with a wobble to them. At first I thought maybe I didn't put it in straight, but nope. I could confirm that when I first put it in it was spinning properly. After a short while of use (and I mean short while. I wasn't running it for anything more than about 30 seconds at a time since I like to take my time when doing my nails) it would end up with a wobble. This occurred if I just ran it without even applying it to the nail. I decided to return it. Too much frustration for a product I owned for hardly any time at all. Maybe I'll try again sometime in the future, but for now I'll just stick to manual filing.

It’s easy to use ..... BUT
I like the fact it’s it’s easy to use..... butI started doing my nails but Using the après nail kit. I wanted a cheap and easy to use drill thinking it would save me money. WRONG. It takes me a while to file and not only that if extra gel extend polish gets out of the nail it’s soooo hard to buff it out. This drill takes a long time to take off gel nail polish or even perform simple nail filing techniques. I’m about to invest in a good drill. If you want something cheap and don’t care about trying to make your nails look nice , then this for you.If you care about your nails and want good results invest in a good drill.

Great for a DIY Manicure at HOME
As much as I love going to the salon to get a manicure, I also enjoy doing my nails by myself at home. This set allows me to do everything that I usually get done at the salon at the pleasure of being home. It comes with the pink drill, which is sturdy and has a nice weight to it. The 6 polishing drill bit heads allow you to customize what you need to get done and provides plenty of sanding bands. I found the nail drill fairly easy to use with the speeding settings just because I am familiar with the tool - but I can see how there could be a bit of a learning curve for people. One thing to note was when when I received my box, there was a picture of an outlet plug into the wall adapter. HOWEVER, you do not get this! It is just a USB cable adapter so that you can plug the nail drill into a USB slot such as your laptop or a powerbank (this is what I prefer since I can bring it on the go).I do recommend this set as it has everything you could need to get a nice manicure at a great price. I wear gel nails pretty often and this set makes it so much easier to remove the gel polish!

Salon manicure at home
I recently decided to start amping up nails by using artificial full nails bonded with nail glue. I’ve experimented with different files, etc., but wasn’t able to get the smooth look I wanted. My local drugstore sold nail file drills but they were over $30 and looked quite cheaply made. I found this product on Amazon and gave it a try. I was not disappointed. The sleek design and size makes it very easy to use. The plug is a USB plug not charger. I do have the adapter to plug into the wall so it worked well for me. I like that the switch on the cord has variable speed settings. It is very easy to insert a tip to use the desired grit needed for my nails. I was pleasantly surprised that they were so many extra sanding refills that came with this kit. My nails look great and I am very satisfied with the end result.
