great product!! works perfectly on my dark brown/near black hair!
there were no instructions so i used it on damp hair, because i wanted to maintain my curl definition, and it worked like a charm! i used no other products, just the wax. i went through my hair section by section, applying liberally, and used about 1/2 the container for my whole head to be this vibrant. i was skeptical just going based off the other reviews and limited showcasing of the actual product in hair, but it's actually great. i made sure to cover up my skin with a towel, use gloves, and then diffused my hair and it dried set with a medium hold. then i cleaned up my hair line and part with a wet q-tip to make it look more natural. i used this for my coraline costume and it lasted all day. washes out and off easily too! it dries a good bit but it will still leave a little blue on you if you touch it too much, nothing too bad though. and i don't usually leave reviews but i just had to for this one because i was so pleasantly surprised. so, if you're debating on taking a chance on this product, do it!

HORRIBLE!
I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she has brown hair and is always wanting to dye it a differnt color. I thought this might be a fun alternitive, and picked a color recomended for dark hair. She has thick curly hair, after reading reviwes it seemed like this would be great for her. WRONG!!!!!! I watched videos, and read instructions before applying this to her hair, her hair was clean and free of tangles. I put it on and the hair just stuck together, I then tried to brush through it, and apply a second layer like read or watched. no can do, there is no brushing through it, it is a matted mess, like if I took a ton of hair spray and sprayed it together. I though hey maybe it is just her hair, so tonight I tried it, I have the exact oppiste hair from my daughter, where hers is short, thick and curly, mine is long, straight and thin. I put on a light coat, and then tried to comb through it and it hurt, it was hard but i got through it, i looked in the mirror andf there is no color, ok so i need a second coat. I put a second light coat on the strands i was doing, only going for streaks, this time it was IMPOSSIBLE to comb through, I am not tenderheaded, but this was not good! I eneded up pulling out my hair, it was matted, it was a gross mess. I washed it out. DO NOT BUY THIS STUFF, it does not work , like it shows.

I like it
The media could not be loaded. I got this just to play with color, not for any occasion. At first I tried to spread it (green) through damp hair but it didn’t spread well and left some spots looking bright and gloppy with other places looking bare, even after brushing through several times. What I was really going for was just a tint, not full color. Even not using much, that didn’t work at all. It still turned out super oily and completely unmanageable so I was tempted to give up on this but decided to try again another day and keep experimenting.I did really like the streaks of white I put at my temples to accentuate my natural grays there so I wanted to revisit that plan. (That’s actually the original reason I bought this.) I had used a spray bottle to just dampen the hair and then put a small amount of (white) hair wax in my left hand so I could rub just a tad into my two fingers on my right hand and apply it that way. I’d say it worked okay, showed up well, and looked fairly consistent but today I tried the SPOOLIE! That worked amazingly well!I dipped the spoolie bristles (not the whole thing) into the blue wax and twirled it to get some on there, then I scraped off the excess like you would regular mascara. I brushed it on, at times twirling the brush to apply, other times just straight to spread. I like it! I think this would be the best way to apply it in wet or dry hair, heavy streaks or just overall tint (just more spreading, really). I still don’t even know if it will spread in wet hair or not but I might try it with a spoolie and see if that helps.Pardon my mess in the video, I hadn’t planned to make one but thought it might help someone decide. If you can see green on my shirt hanging on the shower rod it’s bc I used the green wax and went out playing in the rain- it hasn’t been washed. I just hung it there bc it was soaked. 😏

The white came out silver on my brown hair. Kind of like the toy santa from santa clause 2
I was trying to "dye" my hair and beard to be Santa with my own beard. I looked like the evil toy Santa from Santa Clause 2. It smells good and washes out easily. I just washed my hair 5 times without looking to be safe. I would give more stars if the photos were accurate but I probably wouldn't have bought it because it didn't do what I needed.

Perfect for Ron Weasley
I purchased to turn my 8 year olds hair red/orange for Halloween. I did have to use a lot to get the color I wanted and it did make his hair hard, he looked awesome! It was the a perfect color and everyone thought it was his natural color!! I was SO impressed with how easily it washed out, too. I expected to have to wash several times and/or see some stick around a few days. But it was so simple to wash out fully.

Sticky like gel consistency hair
This covered my bright red hair completely with one light coat over wet hair it turned like galaxy purple but completely covered my brown roots to a nice bright blue and with a second coat on dry hair it made for the beautiful bright blue corpse bride hair I bought this to try before going full blue and dying it in case it turned out bad absolutely recommend itIt is like a hair gel consistency though I tried brushed through my hair after the first coat dried and it worked just fine but completely covered my brush and took out a decent amount of the color my hair became but more like brush able and braidable and more like normal hair but I don’t recommend brushing itOn the plus side even after leaving it in my hair for a solid week it rinsed completely out in the shower before I even used shampoo or conditioner no staining at all and my hair is as soft as ever I was worried I might be purple for a couple washes but no staining happened
