I love the box mine came in. This was packaged with care or at least seems to have been. I think this is a perfect gift for an 8 year old girl. The description says ages 3 and up but the fake nails won't fit a three year old. My grand daughter will love this, the colors of polish and accessories are fun and attractive. The set is adorable and works, even after I removed the bottom looking for the battery box...it isn't on the bottom. Take out the accessory trey and its under that. Requires a small phillips head screwdriver and 4 AA batteries. Must press your fingers down for the connection to mechanized the fan. It's a toy so dont expect a hurricane wind.

I bought 2 of these for my grands and they love it and dryer works well. Only thing I did not like was the nail polish is too thick and does not look nice to me. Other than that, great set for little girls.
