I have long thin hair and these work good. They go all the way through my bun with some spare length and hold well.

I have very thick wavy/curly medium length hair and these work pretty well for me, but I wish they were a bit longer. One is just barely able to hold my hair in a bun, but I put both in for some added security. They do have a tendency to slide out a little, but they haven't fallen out. They are really pretty though and I will be using them.

Have a few types of these hair pins and these ones fall out very easily so I'm always losing them.

These are absolutely beautiful in person! Very comfortable to wear, too. They are slightly shorter than I’d prefer and a bit too slippery, but I am pleased overall.

They are very pretty, and they are the best hair sticks I've been able to find so far, but even these D ont quite hold all my hair. I have very thick, very heavy waist length hair. So far I've yet to find something that really manages to hold all my hair securely in a bun for an entire day.

I have really thin, fairly short, very straight hair that becomes oily very quickly. My biggest concern with hair pins is that my hair won't stay up at all. These are perfect for me!! They keep my hair in place perfectly for extended periods of time. They're also just flexible enough that they have a bit of give when I'm working them through my bun. Thank you!

I wanted to like these, because they're a good size and easy to use. However, they're too flexible to place properly and remain stable - I have better luck holding up my bun with a single wooden chopstick than with one of these, just because the tines are too bendy to feel secure and will slip back out sometimes. I do have very thick, long hair, but again - a single rigid chopstick will do the trick compared to these.

Beautiful. They actually stay in place and hold my long, thick hair well. I am ordering a second pair. I highly recommend these if you have thick hair.
