Q: How do you put in the batteries?

Q: Does this come with a case to hold all the pieces?

No it does not come with a case. The box if open carefully can serve as a case. I suggest using Ziploc bags or small boxes for the small pieces. I find the Gerber baby food containers perfectly for this

Q: is the motor in this set interchangeable with the motor in other Meccano sets?

It is a newer style motor and not a Direct replacement for older style motors but will work with older sets

Q: What's the diffirenc between two styles?

Hello, same item, just different packaging. It looks like the (Meccano version) is being sold by a third-party now at an inflated price, which should ideally drive everyone to buy the Erector version at $39.99 from our stock at Amazon instead. Hope this helps!
