I love compression socks!
I love compression socks - I have worn them since my early 20's. I have a ton of various types and brands. I run my 5ks in compression socks, as well. This pack comes with two socks. I wear them at night because they are open toe and they help with restless leg. The top band is fairly tight on this set, so I stretch them out during the day by stretching them over something larger. The tops are gradually stretching out. These socks are a good value for the money - and are medical grade.

Super support, super comfort.
I have been wearing these firm compression knee highs for almost 20 years now. Usually don't leave home without them. The only time I may consider NOT wearing them is when the dewpoint is over 65 as I find that the severely elevated humidity makes my legs so very swollen that the stockings become very uncomfortable. Although, at that Dewpoint, I usually want to strip off my regular clothes the moment I get into my house. Often times, I will just put them on and take them off as the day goes on (I carry a pair of foot socks so that I don't have bare feet in my shoes).Dewpoint issues not withstanding, I really appreciate these stockings as they do prevent my legs from aching, especially during a long day of standing on my feet.

Works pretty well
I like the FUTURO Knee Length Stocking Open Toe/Heel Firm. I thought I would try this pair, because I really need a closed heel. The primary point where my feet swell is beside the open heel, so my feet puff out where the heel is open. I wear a size Large in the Futuro open heel, so I bought a Large in this pair, the closed heel. These were thinner and harder to put on, but you want the socks to be tight or they won't work. I would rate them as 20-30 compression. The L are long, coming above my knee. I roll the top over about 2-3 inches. The foot part is also plenty long covering by little toe I am 5'11" and wear size 11 shoe. Expect to take several minutes to put these on. If you get them on and adjust the gathering, they are comfortable.

Love Futuro, but not this unisex version
I love the Futuro 15-20 Women's moderate compression knee-high socks. However, I live in a hot, humid area and would really like to be able to wear sandals, so I ordered these open-toed socks. These are really sized for men. Especially for men for whom foot of the men's socks are too small. So on a woman with a size 7-8 foot, the open-toed foot covers my toes. They are too long as well. In a firm compression sock, this means I have wrinkles cutting into my ankles and the top of the stocking cutting into the backs of my knees - neither comfortable nor very good for you. I'd love to see Futuro make a women's sized open-toe version because I really like their compression socks.

So wanted these to work.............
I have worn Jobst opaque knee high stockings for years but as I'm getting older my toes are getting more and more squashed by them. I wear size large petite. I am 15" between floor and crook of knee and 18" round calf. I bought size large in these to try the open toe - the great price compared to Jobst attracted me to try! I love the open toe aspect. The stocking feels like a Jobst relief stocking, thicker and more matt than the shiny opaque. This stocking was about an inch too long and bunched up around the back of my knee, if I put the heel on my heel, this of course made the foot part longer so only my 3 longest toes stuck out. If only they had a petite version I'd be happy to wear these, especially in winter.
