History of Modern India Paperback – January 1, 2009

Excellent book that details the 150+ years of Indian history before 1947. Although, the books abruptly surmise the conclusion between 1942-1947 it still provides good summaries of other independence movements. Author’s other books, ‘India’s struggle for independence’ and ‘India after independence’ are excellent read as well.

Pretty good.
