Been trying to find alternatives to bobby pins and this is it. My daughter does judo and she has very long, thick hair. Nothing worked to keep her hair in a bun.. until we got these. We use the bun donut for the initial bun and then I use about 6 of these to hold the bun in place (like I said, her hair is VERY long and VERY thick). Very happy we found these.

This product is pictured on the bottom, the Goody in center, and a different generic on top. As you can see these are slightly shorter than the original which initially concerned me as I have very thick hair. However, I have used these for a few weeks and I have to say they perform just as well as the original and I may even prefer the shorter length as they are less likely to twist into each other. Work as described. Easy to use. Holds hair securely. A staple in my beauty care. The only negative, after several uses the black coating starts to peel off.

I have long thick wavy hair and 2 of these keep my “messy bun” in place all day. Bonus— they do not sit flat against the scalp like regular Bobby pins so no ouchy head at the end of the day. The tips are rounded so no hair tear. Invisible when in and they do not slip out. I don’t know how they would work with thin hair, maybe for a full bun ok but too much for a half-up hairdo? But if you’ve got thick hair or you’re a curly girl, go for it.

These spin pins are great! I have really long and thick hair so Bobby pins just won’t do it. But these will hold a bun on my head all day, and you can’t really even tell they’re in your hair. They’re sturdy and easy to use, and don’t get caught in your hair. Great value for their price. Highly recommended

I used to buy these in packs of three for like five bucks at the drugstore, and I was so happy to find these, which are just the same quality, but tons cheaper!!!

I was super skeptical about these. I have so much thick hair, how could these possibly hold my hair... but they do!!! My daughter has longer hair, about halfway down her back. They hold her hair great too! We both put them in and they stay for hours. My favorite hair tool!
