These are the second set of these I've purchased because PURPLE! Lol. I've gifted the Black one to a friend. Now that I've used the Black one for a while now, I'm still very impressed for the price. My iPhone 12 Pro Max fits in this unit perfectly even with my case, same as the Black one. My iPhone case isn't very thick so it won't fit with a thicker case. I've attached pics, so you can see how well it fits.So far, I've watched some 4K 360 videos via the YouTube app and it works great with this headset. You scan the code to set it up specifically for the Destek V5 in the YouTube app. The magnification is great through the lenses, but you'll still clearly see the pixels even on the retina display of the iPhone 12, but that is due to the pixels of the phone, not the lenses on this headset. I think the quality of the lenses are very good. What you see will depend greatly on the quality of the videos and content you watch with them. I love that it has the button on the headset, and can control the apps and content with just the button. Awesome! And I still have no idea how that button works, but it does!The Bluetooth controller that is included is easy to pair with the iPhone. It will not work as a game controller in the iOS though, (bummer) but it does work to play, pause, mute, and increase and decrease volume. I do wish I could play games with this controller, but I think I would need to purchase a different controller that works with iOS.So far I'm really enjoying this thing and hope to find more content other than on YouTube. I really want to watch Netflix VR, but it doesn't seem to be available on iOS. Well worth the price for the enjoyment I've had already!

This VR headset fits all the phones we have in the family (Moto G7 Galaxy S9, S20, and LG G8), albeit without the cases. Without talking about the different VR apps, what there is to like about the headset is that it has an adjustment for the distance between each eye, so adults and kids can enjoy it equally. The nose opening is also comfortable for all because it’s large enough for adults but it seals nicely on kids’ faces also, and finally, there is a capacitive touchscreen button that you can use for shoot ‘em up type games. Oh and one more helpful feature is that the headband has a third strap that goes over the wearer’s head so the strain isn’t all on the forehead. A goof choice for all-around family VR fun.

I gave it 5-stars as it isn't a ripoff. This is a very satisfactory headset. Good work, Destek. I'm going to buy another of the same model in case something breaks.I have some older eyeglasses that I can wear with the headset on.The Gizmo app (paid) on my 2021 Android smartphone has an adjustment for Zoom which is the kind of thing you need to zoom out on some 180 videos.I got the straps adjusted perfectly eventually. It's trial and error to get it fitting best, but worth it when the headset doesn't slide down any more.I bought whichever color was the lowest price at the time.An improvement: The clicker is not loud but if it could be any quieter that would be great.An improvement would be clickers on both right and left side, if that's possible.

Very clear lenses and fits my 6.4 inch phone. The rubber nose part is annoying but I can live with it if I adjust it correctly.

Remote won’t control iPhone except in one mode. All the remote control will do is turn up and down the volume, nothing else, so you cannot scroll or use the controller to do literally anything.

V5 VR HeadsetPRICE: $28 at time of reviewSUMMARY: In discussing features, benefits and my overall opinion of the model V5 from Destek, I came to the opinion that this was an excellent option, primarily, for very young users that might not be the most careful in handling a VR headset device, and/or someone that wanted to ‘try out…’ VR, not knowing much about it. With an investment of under $30, one can safety test the waters. I found the initial product-vendor suggested applications I downloaded were a bit basic in both animation and dimensional media. But as I shared in my video, I had only viewed some basic VR apps. And frankly, any headset can provide the ‘essential’ video experience. But it’s the applications, of which there are many, that will be the most important when it comes to judging this type of entertainment.For an experienced gamer, this VR headset would probably not be ‘enough’ in terms of features and/or comfort. I wore the headset and within five minutes the bridge of my nose was aching. I won’t speak for others, but can only imagine that for prolonged wear, and at some point early on, this headset might become uncomfortable. And based on comfort alone, I felt while suitable for a youngster or anyone just experimenting with VR for the first time, this nominally priced headset might not be for me. I’d look for an upgraded headset with more comfort and possibly additional adjustment features for the optics. And certainly, if available, something lighter or with a more advanced-comfort head-strap setup.

Hard finding good apps that work with this I use an IPhone 12 max pro and I found some decent apps but if I try watching other VR videos from other sites it just doesn’t sync properly. And adjusting the headset is a little tedious. And the remote control is pretty much just a play/pause, fast forward type remote for iPhone users which is a bummer thought it could be used as a movement device for the vr games offered in the App Store for iPhones.

Got this as we always wanted to have a VR that's not too expensive, sturdy, and comfortable.This is just right.The strap is fully adjustable so it fits my head and my kids, the two glasses are moveable so we could always find a suitable positions to see things clearly.The weight is not bad, lighter than I expected, but with the plastic construction, unless this is dropped from a height, I don't see it broken any time soon.The VR experience is really great, we don't play any complicated games so haven't tested this with remote control compatible games, but just with simple YouTube VR videos, this is sufficient fun and the remote can control volumes.Pretty happy experience.

Das Erlebnis mit dieser Bille ist wirklich der Hammer. Man kann wirklich meinen man erlebt das gesehene wirklich. Super toll. Die Brille ist auch sehr bequem weshalb man sie auch länger tragen kann.Was sehr wichtig für die Verwendung ist, dann man den QR Code im inneren scannen muss, dann ist des Handy auf die VR-Brille direkt eingestellt und man kannn loslegen.Gut ist auch, dass man die Breite der lisen einstellen kann. Da die Pupillen nicht bei jeden Menschen gleich weit auseinander sind. Sehr tollen Produkt und zu empfehelen

Great VR glasses at a good price. I got the VR glasses today and tested it with my massage pad via Bluetooth.I also have to say that this massage pad runs synchronously with the Hyperience app from the app store and with these VR glasses you can dive into other worlds synchronously with the massage. Absolute relaxation!Everything was set up smoothly via the app.Of course, these VR glasses are definitely not HiEnd, but so far I haven't had any problems with my mobile phone (Huawei p30 pro).As far as I have been able to determine so far, the glasses are really great and after a few hours I can give a clear purchase recommendation.

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift.  I have tested it to be sure everything is working, and I can say I am pleased with it. Device is made of plastic but it feels stronger than it looks, holds phone secure - in my case it is an iphone 7 plus, adjustable straps and lenses and it comes with a remote....Image is very realistic so don't look at horror :-).

Already owning the rift s and quest 2 this is a great addition for use of my mobile. Extremely comfortable and works perfect for on the go. Any thoughts of buying id highly recommend 👌
