Awesome photos. Nice reference

I LOVE ART DECO. I LIVE FOR ART DECO. That said, this is an excellent book to add to my collection.

Would have preferred more smaller photos rather than so many full-page artsy ones. If this is "THE" definitive book on Art Deco, then someone should try another one. Not enuf furniture, too much on knick-knacks.

Lovely book

You have three reasons to buy this book:1. Pictures - I own it two years and I really love photos in it2. Text - I own it two years and never read a word3. Hardback in your bookshelf - Would you like to look smart?

I bought (used and very cheap) the 1976 edition and perhaps by now it has been enhanced. In my copy most illustrations are in black and white and there is little text and nothing to give any detail on any of the illustrations - all a bit random really, except that most of the items are from the author's collection. If I were buying again I might put my money towards another more expensive book.

Un ottimo libro su tutte le sfaccettature che questo grande movimento dell'arte espresse con diversi nomi (Art Nuveau, Jugendstill etc) in tanti paesi.Grazie a BookCommunity si può venire in possesso di questa pubblicazione ad oltre 30 anni dalla stampa: il libro è in ottime condizioni e l'assistenza della rappresentanza italiana del venditore si è rivelata attenta e cortese nel seguire qualche inevitabile problema nella consegna(nel mio caso è stata necessaria una seconda spedizione)Lo consiglio a tutti gli appassionati di quei movimenti che nel primo ventennio del novecento hanno caratterizzato ogni forma d'arte(dalla grafica all'architettura)..
