MEHRET Sport Energy Bars (2 OZ) 6 Pack

Extremely expensive for the size. The bars are literally shorter than my pointer finger. It’s hard to get an idea of what 2oz looks like, but now that they arrived I can say they are quite small. They do not come in a box, just a plastic bag and a handwritten tag/receipt. They are home made looking. They taste pretty good, but I’m apprehensive about what’s really in the product. Since it’s Home made it’s hard to be sure if there is really less sugar or if the product is organic. I probably would have given it more stars, but the photos that they used in the description intentionally tried to hide the size of the bars.

I’ve gotten out of the habit. Of writing reviews, but I just received my third order and I’m thrilled - again.I have a sweet tooth that I’ve never completely been able to get over. And I’ve been looking forever for something that would keep the cravings at bay, also, the pounds and all else. This is it. Top of the line ingredients. Oh, and it tastes like chocolate. Really.These bars really take care of the chocolate fix, notably without the crash. They taste great and are quite satisfying. I should say that I’ve worked on improving my diet for some time, e.g. eliminated soda and most junk foods. Also, I definitely go for savory over straight up sweet. Mentioning this for context. The consistency is maybe similar to one of the thick high end bars you might pick up at Wholefoods, a little flakier, and more subtly sweet than sugary. Highly recommended!

Besides being excellent for your health, and I have a lot diseases, these bars will fill you up, give you energy, and allow you to keep going and going, without leaving you EXHAUSTED as the protein equals the all natural carbohydrats with good fats. It's well balanced!!! This has clean ingredients. I know because my body can detect anything that isn't pure. Yep, that added stuff in any shape or form that is people created, like chemicals etc., in any of the processing of food that you put in the body! Taste is great, with chunks of the nuts (walnuts, pecans, and almonds.. Yummy) in the chocolate + coconut, whey mixed in with light notes of pomegranate. Love them!!! Take everywhere I go and give to my teenagers also. Great Find---No Doubt!!!! The company does go out of their way to make sure you receive your order on time..they thank you and appreciate your business..with a bonus here and there. Gotta Love these guys. Good quality but not shelf stable. Came packaged in a paper wrap with a thin metallic lining with all 6 bars in an outer zip loc ordered July 1 and tried 2 bars. They were good. Figured I would save the rest for a rainy day due to the cost. Opened one November 30 and found it covered with white hairs i.e. mold. All 4 remaining bars from the order were in the same condition. Stored in a cool dry place the whole time. No expiration date on packaging so just be aware that they need to be consumed fresh.

I think this is the best, melt in your mouth chocolate protein bar on the planet, -& with the best of ingredients! However they are just too expensive to buy on a regular basis. I would say go ahead & splurge just once!

This is better than a chocolate bar - a far more complex flavor - and it's full of things that are really good for you. I slice little pieces off, or cut it in half, eat one half and and take the rest with me for later. It feels like a home-made food, not one of these awful processed and highly packaged bars. But it's a real treat! So glad I found it.

Delicious bars. I agree with the comment that they are much better than any chocolate bar. They are small but I cut each bar in five slices and put them in a baggy in the freezer. That way, we can grab a small piece rather than a whole bar. Very satisfying.
