Closed loop rug with a tight weave and reinforced edging. The backing used is a non slip rubber. The dye used for the scenes on the rug doesn't fully color the fibers making it the only real issue I have found.

This is a nice play rug! It looks like it does in the pictures. It is softer than I was expecting, but not overly soft. I wouldn’t try to sleep on it. It is a good size. Several toy car sizes work on it. It is a good price!

I assumed when ordering that for the cost this rug would be pretty much as described and maybe even more so. I was somewhat disappointed 😕First off it wasn’t as soft as I’d hoped for. Made from almost a scratchy type polyester type material. Second the colors were not as vibrant as I thought they should be for a kids rug. It is however a well made rug and should be fairly simple to keep clean as it is like a cut-pile rug.
