Taken 2

Watched them all with the family. We all 3 enjoyed all three of them.

While "Taken 2" has some of the same intense action and suspense as the first film, it doesn't quite live up to its predecessor. Neeson once again gives a strong performance as Bryan Mills, but the plot feels somewhat repetitive and predictable, lacking the fresh energy that made the first "Taken" so exciting.One of the main issues with "Taken 2" is its lack of character development. The characters, including Bryan's daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) and ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen), feel more like plot devices than fully fleshed-out individuals. This makes it difficult to care about their fate or become invested in their storylines.That being said, the action sequences in "Taken 2" are still quite thrilling, and Neeson's physicality as an action hero is impressive. The film's cinematography and editing also contribute to the overall excitement of these scenes.Overall, "Taken 2" is a decent action-thriller that will likely appeal to fans of the genre and fans of Liam Neeson's work. However, it falls short of the high bar set by the first "Taken" and feels like a somewhat unnecessary sequel. If you're a fan of the original, you may enjoy "Taken 2" as a continuation of the story, but don't expect it to surpass the original in terms of excitement and impact.

A must see. Amazon have everything I need!

One of the things that you find in some sequels is the Ridiculous premise used to get the movie to happen. Revenge is always a good motivator for engagement:Murad: I have come to take you to Tropoje to face you to the people whose lives you have ruined. To give them justice.Bryan Mills: You mean to give them revenge.Murad: If it gives us peace call it anything you wish.Having said that, all kinds of Kick Buttery ensues...They Threatened the people he loves and weren't prepared for the consequences! Excellent film, I'd like to think that I don't just buy everything that comes out so the fact that I invested in this film (and the first) actually lends to how good a film I believe this to be. I'll see a movie in the theater, wait a while, see it on HBO or similar and think "Man, that was a really good film!" and then add it to the collection. By then of course the price has dropped Substantially which is an even bigger bonus! Regardless of my methods or reasons, I stand by my assessment - great film.Spoilers:Murad: [Bryan has him cornered] What are you waiting for?Bryan Mills: You have other sons?Murad: Two.Bryan Mills: And if I kill you, they will come and seek revenge?Murad: They will for sure.Bryan Mills: And I will kill them too. You can change that. You can go home, live your life, enjoy your sons, your grandsons.Murad: And my other son, Marko: the son you killed... am I just supposed to forget it?Bryan Mills: No, you'll just have to live with it. Like the parents of all those kidnapped girls. I love them all

I liked this movie. It was interesting.

I had a family emergency and couldn't finish the movie. I didn't realize if I didnt see it or finish it within 48 hours that I would have to pay again. I am very disappointed and just want to finish it for the initial payment. I am a loyal Amazon customer and rented many movies on Prime as you can see. I hope you can help me with this, even though it is my oversight in not realizing the conditions. Thank you

after watching the first one i was looking forward to the sequel, but even though i enjoyed this one it was no where near as good as the first. The story was good, the acting was passable but what let this film down was the action scenes. What made the first one really good was watching Liam Neeson fight hand to hand combat, but even though you see him do the same hand to hand in this film, the camera angles are so shockingly bad that you cannot really see what is going on. I just hope when they make a third one they try and do something different as this felt much much of the same but without being as good.

A great film

Bought this copy to follow on to the excellent original Taken, it does not disappoint, great story and continuation works well, Liam Neeson has a special quality when he is acting,he always comes across, that he knows what he is doing and determined at all cost to succeed. Great entertainment.
