Really charming baby pad for a little boy newborn. The tub that I bought for the baby, has a tub sling seat included. Since, baby was early, he is rather small. The tub seat already in place required some additional padding to bath him, so, this is the reason for this choice. Wow, and am I glad we have this cute, cute froggy petal pad. It was washed before first use, and air dried on a portable air dryer rack, the result, is came out just fine! With first usage, baby's mom had no problem. The non-slip traction dots didn't slide from the padded tub sling seat that's part of the baby tub. Which made this a great solution to our little dilemma!The details on the description page didn't indicate if there was a maximum weight for usage, except in the introduction title, it states newborn. But since, this is for a little, little man, he will, more than likely, get a lot of use out of this. Hopefully, it will withstand lots of washes, and an occasional turn in the dryer on low heat, so, that we need to make sure it's kept hygienically safe!

I had 4 different bath tubs for my twins. This was the last one I purchased, and love it. My twins are wiggly and try to flip out of the chairs and tubs. This is nice to place directly on the bottom of the tub or shower and bathe baby.

Of the MANY newborn bath products I received, this one is by far my absolute favorite. It's soft, doesn't turn into a sopping wet mess even if you leave it in the water for an hour or so, and dries very quickly. The best part about it is definitely that it doesn't add an entire vessel to be tripped over in the bathroom because you hang it up to dry like regular laundry. This will be on my go-to list for future baby gifts for sure, and it takes some serious awesomeness to make the cut for that!

I have a bigger baby bathtub with a newborn insert, but it’s not ideal for those early newborn baths, so I was looking for something that would fit into my sink. I was worried this polyester one would smell like chemicals, but it came without any scent. It came in a plastic bag with no certifications on it, however, so I can’t recommend it that way.The bottom of the pads is rough like a sponge so it has some grip, but the top has a nice, soft microfiber feel that wouldn’t be rough on baby’s thin skin. You simply fold the petals over one another to fit your sink’s size.I’ve washed it once so far (letting it air dry), and it held up fine. The stitching is okay (not perfect but okay), and I pulled on the frogs’ tongues a bit (as they stick up), and none of them came off. (I do have a feeling a baby will immediately put those in their mouth.)Overall, I think this is will be convenient for the first 2 months or so, but I’ll go with another option when the baby gets bigger.

The mat is a good idea to wash the baby in a sink with the soft mat providing support for the infant. I like it because it’s convenient and easy to use.
