Forget about all the other digital night vision optics out there, THIS is the real deal. I have used the other companies' stuff and with all the features and superior image quality it simply blows them all away. Day night use is fully enabled with the adjustable aperture. No more drilling a hole in the middle of a lens cap to allow you to see in bright daylight. At dawn and dusk, the optic can automatically switch to the appropriate day/night mode and low light gathering is amazing. Also, no more fooling with your IR illuminator constantly, a middlin setting is fine as the system can automatically adjust for you when scanning near to far, with foreground reflective objects or open field. The menu and set up are fairly easy to navigate and learn. The laser range finder LRF is far superior and teamed with properly entered ballistics data you will be right on target with no guesswork or Kentucky windage. I was quickly ringing steel at night out to 500 yards and working my way back to 100 yards with 100% reliability, repeatability. Watch some of the YouTube videos, I'm not the only one who thinks this is the best there is. Try it.

Clarity gets grainy after about 8x zoom. Night time is worse with the clarity if you do not have sufficient ambient light, but I'm sure a ir illuminator with help with that. It is heavy, but all in all it is a fine scope.

The media could not be loaded. So far after a few weeks this scope has performed flawlessly! I would definitely recommend it. I tried 2 other scopes from a different manufacturer and was very disappointed but this scope has been awesome!
