Carbquik Baking Biscuit Mix 3 lbs (4 Pack) CVBD

I love this stuff.. I have been using carbquick for a very long time. I have learned to replace it in so many baked goods recipes. I am not a professional baker, but I bake often and I like to experiment too with ingredients. If anyone has any question on how to make something taste nice, compared to what carbquick recipe they may already have, give a shout, and hopefully I can help you out. Hopefully I can attach some pics to this :)

You have to work with the flavor, but anyone into low carb baking can do wonders easily with this mix! Add baking powder for rise in biscuits, make cinnamon/splenda mix add to rolled biscuits recipe and top with cream cheese icing for sweet tooth, etc. Keep it on hand always!

I teach two different keto support groups and this is by far, the product I recommend the most. I use it for everything: pizza crust, biscuits, waffles, cookies, etc. Whenever a recipe calls for flour, instead of using the beach sand texture of almond flour, I found that I like to use this instead and always have wonderful tasting recipes.

I buy this product all the time. Love it! It is so versatile. Less carbs and wonderful for the diabetic. I turned this into the best biscuits, like Kentucky Fried Chicken's. Oh Boy waffles,yes. This is the best gift for watching your blood sugar and feeling treated, Thank you!

Cautiously tried the pancake recipe, with sugar free syrup. To my amazement, it did not cause a spike in my blood sugar. Just as promised, it did not affect me the way regular carb-rich mixes do. The cheese biscuits are delicious, and the box has lots of recipes printed on both the outside and inside of the box, plus healthy substitutes for the ingredients. I will admit that the texture takes a little getting used to, because it’s not as dense, but, as a diabetic who cannot safely have even small amounts of carbs, Carbquik is a miracle for me.

I gave this three stars because it is what it claims to be but it just does not work for me. I think I was expecting this to be a low card version of biskquick and it is not. You have to add a lot of moisture to this product to get it to work. I tried it with my sausage ball recipe, I had to add water, which I don't normally do to get it go hold together, and in the end the taste was all off. I would not server them to anyone else. Next I tried the pancake recipe on the box, never had to add a whole stick of butter to one before. The texture of the batter was more like soggy potatoes but it did make a decent pancake. They were flat, not fluffy, and they did not want to hold together. I had high hopes for this product so I was really disappointed in it and will not continue to try and use it.

I love this product, and I haven't found any store that sells it...so Amazon, it is! If you like to eat low-carb without sacrificing flavor, this is the BEST pancake and biscuit mix for you! I make pancakes out of the "Belgian Waffle" recipe on the back of the box...perfect with butter and keto pancake syrup!!! Don't ever stop selling this, Amazon...PLEASE!

I love this stuff! It does have a slight bitter taste, but I keep buying this over and over. We have made pizza dough, waffles, brownies, pancakes, biscuits, and sausage balls and the whole family loves it. There is a bit of a learning curve, but this fits into my low carb lifestyle so I pray it stays on the market forever! Give it a try also look up Tova Industries for recipes. When it calls for Splenda I replace it with Lakanto Monkfruit and 90% of the time I get something that I absolutely love. I also tweak recipes to take away the carbquick taste that it has (i.e. add extra butter, extracts, monkfruit, cinnamon, etc)
