This is the only sauce I buy. My sauce is always delicious.

Growing up in an Italian family, I always raved about my mom's spaghetti and lasagna. I bragged about the homemade sauce and how no other mother could make a better sauce. When I went away to college, I asked my mom to show me how to make her sauce. I was flabbergasted when she presented me with 6 cans of Dei Fratelli sauce. I asked her what it was for, and she told me that was her secret ingredient.That was 30 years ago and I still use this sauce. After leaving the state after college, my mom would ship me the sauce. I was so excited to find it on Amazon about 10 years ago.I use the sauce to make my mom's sauce recipe and my kids and grandkids love it. I now ship the sauce to my daughter-in-law in Utah. This is the best sauce money can buy.

Couldn’t find this brand in local stores. Was pleased that I can order it - a must for a great chili recipe

My daughter, who is a health freak says you shouldn't buy tomato-based products in cans. I don't know much about that, but the reason I wouldn't do it again is because 6 of the cans arrived dented, some worse than others. I immediately put all damaged cans in the refrigerator and used them quickly. None of the cans bulged or I would not have used them. I wish this product came in glass bottles or that I could find it at my local grocery store. I love the way it is seasoned, but I might stick with Rao's, which I can get locally in glass jars, and is also very good. Needs a splash of fennel though, which might get it close to Del Fratelli's.

Meets our expectations and more. If only we could find it close instead of buying so many at once. The only base for incredible vegetable soup.

I ordered Dei Fratelli Italian Sauce by mistake. I had intended to order the tomato sauce. I didn’t take note of the difference until I was cooking with it for the first time...holy smokes!!! You can use it as a base for your regular gravy, but you could also eat it straight out of the can! I’ve used it as a marinara sauce, a base for tomato bisque, a pizza sauce and as a base for minestrone...it excelled in every dish I added it to! We are trying to avoid all oils, so I will be going back to the tomato sauce, but this was one of my better mistakes. Delicious!As a side note, each can arrived in perfect condition...not a dent on the bunch. I have recently learned that some companies use Amazon to unload their dented cans on mail order customers. No such fear here...quality obviously counts with Dei Fratelli.

I've used this product for years but after moving I could not find locally. Found it on Amazon!! Very happy! It's excellent..love it!! Only negative was out of the six cans I ordered one was crushed and not usable!

I really love Dei Fratelli sauce. Other sauces give me heartburn. Not this one. I used to be able to get in stores, now I can`t find it in stores (as usual-pandemic) It really is the best! Wish I found it sooner.
