Mega Maxx Nylon Hand Held Cutter 5 Inch, red

This is one of my favorite small kitchen tools, it's great for not only slicing pizza with ease of course, but I also use it for easily cutting sandwiches as well as quickly slicing through very large batches for dumplings. The palm rest makes it very easy to hold onto and apply as little or as much pressure as needed. Clean-up is ridiculously simple by pulling off the cutting wheel and washing it and the housing--both of which wash and rinse very well. Then, after drying, I snap the wheel back into place and it's ready to go again. The wheel, although it is some sort of plastic, is still quite sharp and tempered in some way so as to not bend or warp under pressure. It rolls smoothly within the housing while the palm rest is sturdy and secure in my hand allowing me to easily slice through thick or thin crust pizzas, sandwiches without tearing, and (dumpling) dough safely, cleanly and effectively.

Couldn't cut thru a delivered pizza ( which hadn't been cut thru fully). The red part keeps coming apart when you do not want it to. I think it may separate for cleaning but not even sure of that. Plastic wheel is not sharp enough. Probably OK for cutting raw pasta but definitely would buy a metal 'wheel' to cut pizza. Do not recommend. Cheap, but that is reflected in usage capabilities. UPDATE: After using it a maximum of 4 times, the cutting wheel cracked!

We had a similar cutter that was a give-away from a hospital that we loved and have about worn out. The one we ordered - eh - not impressed. It seems rather flimsy and not solid at all when you cut. I wouldn't really recommend it.

I got one, sort of like this one, about 10 yrs ago at a Redstone Federal Credit Union booth. It’s still going strong but thought I should start looking into a replacement. This one cuts good. The wheel is a little too thin and it comes apart weird. I’m keeping but it’s not the perfect replacement.

It is flimsy cuts the pizza crooked.

Much sharper than I expected! You're not going to slice your hand rummaging for this in the drawer, but it cuts through pizza crust and quesadillas quite well. We use it frequently. I'm sure the edge will eventually wear down and need to be replaced, but there's no sign of that happening any time soon.Your hand puts the leverage for cutting in the right place, unlike when you've got a handle to deal with.It might take a few seconds to figure out how to disassemble it for washing, but it's a pretty simple design once you see it in action.Dishwasher safe, won't rust, and easy to find in a drawer full of black & silver utensils!

I used it once and it went directly into the trash (recycling, actually).Does anyone remember when they used to give these out for free at grocery stores, and hair salons, or just anywhere that wanted to advertise and be more original than a refrigerator magnet? Okay, well those hard plastic ones were awesome.This piece of junk couldn’t cut through the pizza and broke immediately after its failed attempts. I am a Prime member who shops on here religously, and this is by far the worst purchase I have ever made on this site. Please, don’t do it...just don’t do it.
