Love effects of Chaste Tree Berry, tho’ it tastes horrible lol -will never stop again just bc of taste. Works best in large amounts - put in my shakeology daily along w/ Aswaganda etc. for Pituitary Adenoma. I’ve been on Cabergoline - works great for my condition - reduces lactation- manages weight - but as all pharmaceuticals - dangerous bc it’s not natural. Chaste Tree aka Vitex - is the ONLY herb to HEALING hormone issues - mood -anxiety etc- physical issues- due to overproducing Estrogen (can messes up a woman’s entire system). I bought this with the hope it would help my Cushing's horse shed his winter coat; my normal horse started shedding a couple of weeks ago but Khari had not lost a single hair. He has been on 2-3 tsp per day for 3 weeks now and he was losing hair to the curry comb yesterday. I know CTB does not work for all PPID horses but I am cautiously optimistic as it was mid-April before he shed at all last year and he kept some of the longer belly hair well into July.I had been worried about how I would get this into him as he is a supremely picky eater and CTB has a rep in some circles for being bitter. It smelled very nice and fresh when it arrived and Khari had no issues with it. I mix it with his beloved Jaiogulan powder and he vacuums it right up.It seems to be a quality product and the cost is reasonable enough to make it worth trying.

Have used product for many years on my mare, and as far as I know it works for its purpose in that regard.

I have a mare who got to be very difficult (dangerous) to handle during her heat cycles. Tried a hormones .The vet said she tested positive for cushings desease and this could maybe causing he problems. Prescribed Precend at $3 per pill, helped somewhat. I went looking for natural alternative, found Chaste Tree Berry powder for $15 per bag (1 lb). Noticed a big improvement within days. She has been on this for year and a half with no major behavior problems.

I use this product to lessen my mare’s crested neck. In sprinkle in a heaping table spoon into her grain and she loves the taste.

Tried as a last resort for our senior miniature horse who has sevear cushings that has progressed into a full blown brain tumor. He was loosing his vision and hearing and was depressed and unpredictable.I love my horses, but this one is extra special as he was my very first horse and it broke our hearts to see him taken by such a debilitating condition.Parascend was too expensive for only a 50% success rate...We tried this, 1/2 tsp once a day for 2 weeks then 1 full tsp once a day and he is back to his old calm and happy self.He has even regained most of his vision and hearing!100% Sarisfied and will definitely buy agian.

This was used for an older horse that was exhibiting signs of Cushings. First, he HATED the taste (smells like sage). Had to give him “spoon full of sugar” (molasses) mixed with his grain and the powder for first two weeks, slowly using less molasses. Now all I have to do is mix it thoroughly with grain and he doesn’t mind it.He now looks better than all the horses. Coat dropped by 10 days, he started to fill out top line then too and is getting meatier flanks. He’s peppier.I would HIGHLY recommend trying this first before the expensive and potentially dangerous chemical pills they give. I’m going to add it to all horse feed over summer since I’ve lost four horses to Cushings in ten years (all older). Thinking the grass might not contain certain minerals or something they need (yes I provide a selenium mineral block). Hoping to see results like I did with my Farouk!
