Modetro Sports Ankle Brace Compression Support Sleeve w/Free Ankle Strap-Achilles Tendon Support,Ankle Support for Ligament Damage

After rupturing my Achilles I wanted something to support my ankle. Having bought this product I cannot say it helps my situation. The quality looks and feels very good but for me it was no different than wearing a tight sock. This review is not trying to deter anyone from buying this product, being honest wasn’t really sure what this was going to do for me.

Having suffered with achilles pain a few months back, I thought I was over it. Unfortunately, after a couple of very chilly runs around Christmas, I started to feel pain again. I seriously didn't need this as I had an event coming up and also needed to increase my general activity to shed my 'winter plumage'.Ordered this item according to the sizing guide in the images. Fit was perfect; went on easily, provides support without feeling oppressive. You receive two identical support sleeves plus an additional strap. Getting a pair turned out to be really handy, as I could use one for training, keeping the second one fresh and unstretched for my event.Using this support I managed to continue training without any pain during or after. My event was a family traditional football game, pretty rough, more like rugby. I survived the full duration of the game, and to be honest, everything else hurt except my achilles!Still wary of potential injury, I still wearing during exercise, and also wear one in bed the night following, until my foot has warmed up the next morning. I haven't needed to use the additional support strap.For comparison, at the same time I ordered an RDX product (a previously used brand). Despite getting the L/XL it was way too small and could only just get it over my toes! I'll be looking for Modetro first should I have any future requirements, and will certainly recommend to friends and colleagues.

So I brought this after my hubby had a bad sprain on his left ankle from playing football. His swelling went down but after 6weeks that last bit of swelling kept coming back after he came back from work when he started work! It will go down overnight but when he comes back from work it will come back again! He was wearing like a tubigrip at that time he had another ankle support which was suitable to wear with shoes on.So since wearing it when he’s mobile his swelling is much better! Even after work his swelling isn’t that obvious and he says that with that extra strap for support he feels there’s more support for exercising. And he can wear it easily with shoes as well. The only two things that were negative was that like another person commented that they only provide with one ankle support strap so for my hubby at the moment is okay as he only needs it for one ankle. The other thing was the finishing of the hem wasn’t that great. The sewing cake off on one of the ankle sock.

It's fabulous. You get two under support slips with it so that's one on and one in the wash. It's supportive, flexible and comfortable and you can adjust it. I've got slim feet and ankles and I thought it would be too loose but that isn't the case as the design of the material of the strap appears to be supportive whatever the stretch without sagging. You can put it over a normal sock too if you just want the support around the house at low impact without needing the extra support of the slip on under sleeve which is also supportive. I can get some shoes, trainer and loose fitting boots over it too as it's not too bulky if you position the velcro in the top middle of your foot. I twisted my ankle and couldn't get my foot flat without pain and making it worse. On Prime delivery this item is an ankle saver, I didn't have to go out to the BP or get my foot strapped up with unsightly medical bandages. For a more severe sprain I'd advise something more robust initially but for a less severe one or when youve had a couple of weeks in a supportive boot and want to get going again this is a brilliant and great quality solution.

I had been suffering with a swollen ankle for a few days and finally decided to get some support as it clearly wasn’t going away like usual. Had a good look around and settled for this item. Arrived promptly and I used it straight away, I found the instructions clear and the product well madeAfter a couple of days my ankle was settling down and I have now doubt it was because of the support this item gave my ankle and my job means I am on my feet for most of the day which was aggravating the issue.5 days later ankle was back to normal and I am extremely satisfied with the product and would highly recommend this product

Wow. I sprained my ankle a week ago and have been suffering through the hot/cold/rest it advice but not had the option of total rest due to me crazy hyper dog who needs walked.These arrived quickly and well packaged. They appear to be of excellent quality. The material feels thick and well made.They are quite tight getting on but once on the pain reduction was immediate. I then managed a dog walk with only the slightest of twinges here and there which I think have more to do with my strong dog pulling me in every direction. After a shower and putting them back on I am in heaven. It feels like my ankles are getting a massage (I'm wearing on both ankles as my second ankle was feeling a bit sore after taking the majority of my weight after my first injury) and I am so glad I brought these.I'm using the extra strap on my bonafide sprain and it feels really good.

A really all-round excellent ankle support!! The extra wrap really helps with my injury and helps me keep my ankle where it should be now that I am able to start running again - without this support my ankle doesn't feel stable enough when striking the ground on impact. Even without the strap the sock is extremely supportive - not tight!! I use the sock alone when doing strengthening exercises. A bargain at less than a tenner and with 2 socks I've also got one clean and ready to use! Would definitely recommend! Best one I came across on Amazon too! Thanks very much!
