Seriously awesome for the price, with my only complaint being on the app used to access the camera. I purchased this to use as a baby monitor with all the fancy features it offered.Mainly drawn in by the fact it connects directly to WiFi and offers night vision so we can see our daughter during naps and the fact I got it for a serious steal at only 30$ I can overlook the app.Setup was fast for the most part, only scanning the box QR code and picking the WiFi it uses (ONLY 2.4GHz) and it was ready to go. Be aware 2 apps exists to control the camera with one being inferior to the other. Overall, very satisfied and debating another for my sons room.Keep in mind, this DOESN’T have 2 step authentication accessing the app. This is the only real complaint I have for the privacy of my children. The camera will only stay in a location I feel safe with for this reason.

I have the camera pointed out a window. The day time quality is great and the motion detection is good but overly sensitive. The night vision is awful because of the window, the night vision infrared LEDs reflect directly back into the camera blurring out the image. I use other "indoor" cameras this and don't have the "reflection" issue. The camera was probably not meant to be used this way. I am definitely not impress with the software on my phone. I added customized schedules and now can not get rid of them. The tech support staff is responsive but not very helpful. Other cameras that I have allow me to setup a detection zone so I can limit the area being monitored for motion. This camera doesn't seem to have that feature. I would prefer it just store the video on the SD card and not alert at all. I would recommend you primarily use it as a baby monitor and be aware that the motion detection can alert you alert more than you want. I would NOT recommend the app software at all.

This is my second camera I've bought from this company and the first one was delivered quickly and came nicely packed. This second one not so much. It was crudely thrown in the box (clearly a return), the bags were stuffed in the box instead of covering the camera, and the SD card slot does not read the card (probably why it was returned). I am annoyed with Amazon for the crap shipping of a used and broken camera. As for the camera itself the picture quality is alright at best but it is not 1080, 720 at best, the night vision leaves a lot to be desired. It's alright if theres background light to help it out but otherwise the IR lights are not strong enough to reach further than a couple feet. It's pretty good about motion detection but it could be much better.

First let me mention your offered a free gift if you leave a review, now that makes me skeptical about some of these reviews. And anyone who said it's easy to set up is lying. The only instructions you get are how to connect it to wifi and even that lacks simplicity... then ur on ur own.I started by scanning the code. Come to find out that's only to register it. Had nothing to do with setting up wifi gave me a headache trying to figure that out. So then I just typed in the name of the app in my app store instead and to my surprise it was a completely different app from the one a scanned. Now the instructions begin making sense.... welp long story short after wifi set up like I said before, ur on your own. You just press buttons and get a feel for it yourself. At one point I thought it only took pics then messing around with it more I found the live recording.Came with different mounting tools which idk what all the different pieces are for neither do anything in the box tells you 🤷🏾‍♀️ also I have no idea about wifi bandwidth so i took a gamble if it didn't work I'd be out of luck. Glad it did. Besides all that it's a great product for the price makes me question why everyone who was a smart phone dont have one. Ease your mind when not at home. If this camera was waterproof it would be perfect.

Like most people, all I really want to do is hang out with my dog all day. Unfortunately my landlord likes to get paid so off to work I go. I've been wanting a camera to spy on my dog for awhile now and finally decided to pick this one up. Set up was super easy, you basically just plug it in and follow the prompts on the app. I didn't bother screwing it to the wall since it's got practically a 360 rotation anyway, but it does come with the hardware to do so if you like. The motion detection feature is nice if you want to keep track of what piece of furniture your dog is sleeping on......or you can just pan around with the buttons in the app as well. The picture quality seems fine to me but I'm not that picky. Last thing is that there's a couple options for recording video - you can either pay for cloud storage or stick a card in the device itself. I'm just using it as a live video feed since I don't particularly need hours of saved footage of my dog sleeping, but hey.....you do you.

Quite honestly the camera works well and give you a good sense of security at home with day and night vision, motion detection and iphone alerts. Most amazing is the price. I have a paid security alarm systems, two different companies, and subscribing monthly. These cameras however are of equal or better quality than the $199 that I paid the Alarm companies. Strongly recommend to those who need an affordable low cost security system! Each motion at home while your are away is detected and transmitted on your iphone. You can view the motion yourself and if you see an intruder you can call the police.

This is a pretty good camera. I bought and returned at least 5 other brands before finally settling on this one. The other brand wouldn’t sync up to my phone. I had no issues with this one. The camera has great picture. It has night vision and doesn’t see too far across my living in night, but it still works great. It has a small delay and sometimes freezes for a couple seconds, but so far it always corrects itself. I am happy with it. I need to order the SD card so I can check how well the video playback works. I can update my review later.
