Poor picture quality no motion activation of recording
I opted for this camera not because of the price but because of the reviews. With hindsight I should have been more sceptical as the reviews are generally superficial and offer uniform praise. I suspect many were written by people who had been bribed through them being refunded the purchase price or free gifts. I should also have paid attention to the sellers response to questions which demonstrated that they either new little about the camera or had a poor understanding of English or possibly both. All that I wanted was a camera that would provide security videos that enables one to recognise faces or read number plates at distances of less than 20 metres and whose video recording was activated by motion detection. This camera does not do this. I don't know whether there is a fault with my camera but the picture seems to be out of focus making it difficult to discern any features in things or people at distances greater than 10 metres. The motion activation seemed ok but all I got was a still photo and although the picture had the play symbol on it I was informed that there was no video. The quality of the still at 10 metres meant that I could hardly recognise myself. There is nothing wrong with my SD card as the camera does record if I manually switch on the record button. The camera I got is not fit for purpose and is going back but amazon needs to do something about these fake reviews as they waste its customers time and encourages them to purchase from more trustworthy sites.

Excellent quality product
We installed this camera in our new home which we just move in. We have a mason blink XT system to cover the internal and door. However, we do thing we need another to monitor the street and our drive way. I’ve been meaning to get an external camera for a while now and then I read a few reviews on this one, and it has more features for similar priced cameras. This is a great camera and excellent value - it is well made, very solid construction, initial set up is very straight forward, and the quality of image is excellent. I was so impressed that I will looking for a second one to cover the back garden. Will upload some picture and give further review later on.

Fantastic Technical Support
Initially the camera worked sometimes but not others, I contacted the seller and received very helpful reply asking me to carry out some tests and get back with the results. Every email received a prompt and helpful reply telling me not to worry, they were very interested in the problem and together we would get to the bottom of the problem which was an installation location issue. The camera works exactly as it should, motion detection is fine (set on 1) and the HD quality is fantastic, everything just works. This camera outperforms cameras costing much more and is backed by exemplary technical support and I would highly recommend you buy from this supplier.

The jury's been out a while but now they're back.
Have just received this and am still getting to grips with it. Although being a solidly built camera, the mounting bracket is plastic (thinking U.V. & plastic - not a good mix). The paper "manual" could do with using a bit more paper to allow a bigger print size - us oldies struggle with tiny print!). Also, the translation is a typical oriental attempt - starting off fairly good but then deteriorating into virtual gibberish. The 360eyes Android software is not particularly user friendly or intuitive although it's far better than the utterly rubbish Windows version which for some reason will only allow "Live View". The availability of a Windows interface was the main reason I chose this unit and it's lack of functionality may well be the reason I return it.I naively expected that "motion detection" would mean the ability to start recording for a preset time whenever and for however long motion was detected. Not so; it records continuously and the motion detection merely flags up a list of time-stamped alerts. You then have to find that time on the crude playback time-line, this requires considerable patience and dexterity and is really impracticable if trying to isolate a section of only a few seconds. It's not mentioned in the paper "Manual", but I've discovered that once found, you can then record a section to the "Album" which is in MP4 format so playable on other software. I've since realised that the on-line help manual explains this.Update: Just realised (and surprised nobody else has experienced this problem), the position I need to mount it (slightly off parallel to a wall), is impossible to achieve. The antenna hits the mounting post in such a way that it can only be mounted at about 60 degrees or more to the wall. Supplier's suggestion was to either find a different location or mount it upside-down (duhhh! so the visor's at the bottom and rainwater can get into the speaker grill? I don't think so, thank you). Gonna have to return it.

Easy to use app and simple installation
I already have a couple of cctv cameras connected to my smart home system, why did I need another? When I purchased my first camera, I didn't really know what I needed to look for but that has changed.I have realised that a WiFi camera is versatile but it always nice to have the fallback of ethernet connectivity. This camera has both! There are 3 leads exiting the camera, power, ethernet and a reset button. This means there is no need to open any panels on the camera for wiring or to reset the unit which would eventually create the opportunity for water ingress. The one downside is the length of the power cable. I would really like to see longer power cables supplied with these cameras. The power and ethernet cable are designed for working outdoors are are waterproof. The picture quality is perfect for security use. There are motion alerts, although I have occasionally found false alerts. The low light vision is very reasonable for this price range. Overall a great addition to any home security setup.
