Razor sharp idea - buy these
I still don't know how Victorinox does this for the price, but here's proof that they know what they are doing. Perfect size small paring knives, with the usual hyper-sharp Victor edge suitable for splitting the atom effortlessly. Handles are nubbly high-grip plastic (other kitchen-ware websites say polypropylene). Blades have no bolster, but given the handle friction this probably is not a problem1. The straight parer is just right for general prep work and will retire an old no-name parer. The other two are interesting.2. The serrated edge parer is capable of slicing the toughest thin mushy vegetable skin (think ripe tomato) and make paper-thin slices. Works as well as the Victor tomato knife (I have one but will give it to my GF in favor of the shorter blade).3. The reverse curved-blade parer (Bird's beak) introduced me to a French technique for prepping firm vegetables (make garnishes or "tournes" from carrots, potatoes, yams and other firm, solid not onion-style vegetables). Tourne cuts are curved uniform thickness strips and leave a 7-sided (!) core. Also suitable for peeling small spherical fruit. Online consensus is that Tourne is a master-chef flourish technique to show how skilled one is.I'm not sure how much I'll use it but it may be more useful than I think. Williams-Sonoma wants $55 for a birds beak Wusthof. If you are a master chef or just need the bragging rights you should get a Wusthof and display it prominently on your kitchen counter as a conversation-starter; otherwise, buy this set and use this knife occasionally.Overall, this is a buy; three knives for the price of two. You could do worse.

Super Sharp!
These are great little paring knives! I like that they come with three different blades and shapes, but the handles are all the same. They are crazy sharp and light, being easy to handle. I would definitely buy again!

Really perfect set of paring knives
When I lost my favorite victorinix paring knife, I bought this set. The straight paring knife is better than the one I bought 10 years ago and lost. The handle is longer. I was surprised that the bird beak knife was perfect for precise peeling and cuts. The serrated blade is a bit less useful, but helps with coring tomatoes. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Really good paring knives
These are very good paring knives, 3 different types, highly rated by America's Test Kitchen & a very reasonable price. They live up to my expectations.

Great handles, Good blades
These are good knives; I was skeptical that they would actually be made in Switzerland, but that is what the packaging says. Someone posted that these are not the Fibrox handles, but they are nicely shaped nevertheless and should hold up well in the dishwasher. I also own some Rada knives that are made in the USA and while the Victorinox have nicer handles, I think the Rada's have nicer blades. In particular, I would rate the similar three-piece Rada set higher because of the great serrated tomato slicer (long and thin).Rada G249 Cutlery SetEither set is a good value, particularly for not being made in the land of the Red Flag.

Great Blades and a Great Bargain from Victorinox, But Handles are Light Plastic Material
I love the Swiss quality of Victorinox, and my husband and I have several sizes and Types of Victorinox pocketknives and multi-tools, which will become heirlooms for our children and grandchildren. I have a small Victorinox curved paring knife made exactly like the ones in this set, and I love its curring power. But buyers who are expecting something other than the more-or-less flat handle may not like these.

Victorinox knives never disappoint!
I’m a home-cook and I’ve owned a couple of knives in the past. I’ve always had a great experience with Victorinox knives, especially with their chef’s knife, because I don’t need to sharpen it too often. Their knives are budget-friendly, light to carry, and I love their handles since it doesn’t strain my wrist and I don’t worry of accidentally cutting myself while chopping and prepping the food. I’ve been looking for paring knives since I don’t want to take out my chef’s knife for cutting small items.
