Product is easy to use, it cuts to size with scissors and it really helps keep the tank clear and pristine. I have used other filter media that also worked but the price and ease makes these carbon and filters pads a "no brainer". Simply cut to size and replace each month.

Seems to help the water quality, but the carbon starts to come off after a month or so

This product is good. It saves me from buying filter at store. With this I can make my own filter with poly -fil that lasts long and easy to change. My tank is always clean and clear.
