Sadly, very low battery life for me
I just reached the 1 year mark with these batteries and sadly the warranty period is over. I use mine with the Canon Powershot SX50 HS. I bought two of these. On one, I can only get 30 photos after a "full charge", which takes only like 10 mins with is very strange, fast. On the 2nd one I was able to get almost 70 shots. That's just not enough to be trust worthy, 100 or so shots with 2 fully charged batteries. I wish I could get them exchanged but it's too late for that now. I charge mine with my original Canon battery charger that came with my camera.

Perfect!
Needed new batteries for my Cannon XL50. These were exactly what I needed. Charged them both up ,and so far they have not disappointed. As a hobby photographer, having good reliable batteries is epic. Importance! Happy shopper!

NB-10L batteries are confusing. Here's a test of some you'll see here - including BM Premium
When you read reviews of NB-10L batteries you get contradictory info."These work great""They run out of power real fast""They don't hold a charge""They're better than Canon's batteries"And you'll see all these statements for the same brand!Confusing! So I did some testing.Background. I got a used Canon G15 camera in 2019. It came with two Canon NB-10L batteries. I don't know how heavily they were used. Probably not a lot - I think the camera had less than 2,000 shots on it.At the same time I got the G15, I picked up two KASTAR NB-10Ls here on Amazon. I've used those 4 batteries since. During my June 2022 vacation I noticed my batteries were becoming unreliable. 1 Canon and one KASTAR.Between 2019 and June 2022 I would use the camera heavily for a week and hardly use it at all for many months. Hard to say how many times I recharged the batteries. Probably less than a 100.Picked up 3 more batteries from Amazon and here are my test results. The batts.Canon OEM - 920 MaH. x2KASTAR - 1,400 Mah x2BM Premium - 1,200 Mah x2Wasabi - 1,300 Mah x1I tested them by putting a fully charged battery into the G15 and letting it record video until the battery ran out.I did a second test where I charged all the batteries and let them sit for a week to see if they drained too quickly when left aloneWhen I first got the KASTARs in 2019 I noticed they lasted 50% longer than the Canon OEM batts.First testCanon #1 2 hours, 37 minutesCanon #2 2h 37mThe next battery failed on my June vacationKASTAR #1 less than 30m. Battery failed so quickly camera couldn't save file.KASTAR #2 1h38m. Was surprised by this so I retested. 1h35mKASTAR has longevity issues.BM #1 2h2mBM #2 2h3mThe BMs would show the low battery warning after less than 90 minutes but they kept going. It's very tricky to figure out how much charge is left in a battery.Wasabi 2h6m2nd test. Charged and left alone a week.Canon OEM #1 2h7mCanon OEM #2 2h34mThis surprised me as the the 2nd Canon was unable to hold a charge on my vacation.Working fine now!KASTAR #2 1h34mBM #1 2h1mBM #2 2h4mWasabi 2h7m---------This would seem to be a clear win for the Canon OEMs but, when you consider the price, the BMs or Wasabis are reasonable alternatives if you're not a professional. My conclusion is that it's hard to predict the longevity of this type of battery (lithiums).
