Excellent Quality
I prefer yellowfin tuna to albacore or bonita, and I also prefer oil packed rather than water. Oil-packed yellowfin is not so readily available in supermarkets, and, to complicate things further, we require a reliable kosher certification for every food we buy. This Tuscanini product ticks off all my requirements. It is very high quality, truly delicious, and has become our go-to product for tuna salads and the like. The only tuna that is better is the Tuscanini jarred ventresca yellowfin, which is considerably more expensive (but worth it!)

A little pricy for my taste

Great taste but too much sodium.
This tuna is so much better than what you can buy at the grocery store, and it's not priced much higher. The salt content is way too high though. A can is one serving. Eat one serving and you will feel bloated and a little sick for 2 days. It has 450 mg. of sodium per serving. That is almost half a gram! I do not have a health problem that makes it so I can't eat much salt, but this much feels (and tastes) just too overwhelming. Also one can sort of taste the can. Next time I'll buy it in jars which i had before and which tasted better because one did not taste the metal.

Dented cans
Four of the six cans were dented. They were packed in a bubble wrap envelope, which clearly was not sturdy enough for this type of product.Updated April 11:Today I opened a can. This was listed as solid tuna. It is not solid tuna. It is very fine shreds, basically mashed, with plenty of oil. I will not order again.
